For Parents

Who can join .... Arab children aged between 12 and 15 are eligible to join. Our Program is devised to suit campers regardless of their IT background. The only criterion is showing interest in any of the four disciplines we're offering, or at the very least, being curious enough to want to know more. On our part, we will guarantee is that it will be a memorable fun-filled experience

Supervising Team

- Camp manager and four deputy managers - One trainer for each group of five campers - One group leaders for each family of 8-12 campers - Eight sports, cultural and arts supervisors - A complete hotel/managerial staff - Doctor, nurse and psychologist The supervising team running the training, sports, cultural and health departments have been carefully chosen by our team of experts. Each has been well-trained by experts in education, arts and technology to provide for all the requirements needed for the duration of the camps. Hence, the ratio of staff to campers is 1:5 to guarantee round-the-clock supervision and care.

What to get

For Parents and Campers What to get In our camps, the fun begins even before you arrive! To begin this exciting journey, each child needs to prepare a list of essentials. Clothes: Please pack comfortable summer clothes such as T-shirts, shorts, jeans, track suit, swimming suit, sandals, running shoes, socks and underwear enough for the two-week stay. You may pack one dressy suit to wear for the end-of-camp party and a set of traditional national clothing (if available). Each camper will receive 2 camp T-shirts and cap upon arrival. Material: The material to be prepared will require parental aid and should include (if possible) the items listed below: pictures, books, CDs and films (videos tapes, VCDs, DVDs). It's important that campers bring along the requested (available) material, as it will be the focus of discussion and learning during the first few days of the camp. Pictures: A few weeks before you arrive, we would like you to take pictures of your family members, friends, home, street, neighborhood and favorite parts of your city. Bring these pictures along, and if you have any old pictures (black and white or color) of your family, city or country, please bring them too. Books: Please bring along three or four of your favorite books (both Arabic and any other language). If possible, bring magazines and comics that you like. Music: Please collect three or four CDs or tapes of your favorite music (Arab and foreign) and music by someone from your country (old and new) that you like. Films: Please bring two or three videos, VCDs or DVDs of your favorite films (Arab and foreign) and a film by a director from your country whom you like. What NOT to pack! Any valuables, such as jewelry, wrist watches and electronic games are not allowed on our premises Parents need to double-check this particularity before their children leave for the camp. Any valuables found will be kept in the camp's treasury until campers return home. Parents may give their children a maximum of $100 per child for shopping for souvenirs. They will not need more, as everything they would need is available at the campsite. Money has no value at our campsite because there is nothing for sale.

The camps will be equipped with telephone and internet access to enable parents to communicate with their children according to specific times.

Roommates

This is a co-ed camp where boys and girls work and play together during the day. The boys' and girls' sleeping quarters are located at opposite ends of our campsite with round-the-clock monitoring and room-supervision. With a ratio of three campers per room, rest assured your children will be safe and comfortable.

Meals

The camps will offer three meals per day plus an afternoon snack based on a healthy and balanced diet

HealthCare & Security

HealthCare Arab Digital Expression Camps has an on site Medical Director and round-the-clock nurse responsible for the administration of all medications, treatment of illness and injuries and the general health and welfare of the campers. All participants will be medically insured against any possible illness or accident throughout their stay with us. Security Having been carefully selected and trained, our staff will be at hand to supervise campers, during both day and night, as well as lead evening activities. We average a 5:1 student to staff ratio. Our staff will stay in the dorms along with the campers.

Rules& Regulations

All campers are required to comply with the rules and regulations of Arab Digital Expression Camps. Upon receipt of a camper’s application, a registration packet will be mailed which includes a statement of “camper rules and regulations.” These rules and regulations have been prepared and are meant to guarantee the safety, health and proper conduct of campers during their stay with us. These rules are placed as a reminder and should be firmly observed.
